1985 – 23.5×16.5 in. –  pastel

This quiet scene across from my house and studio on Circular Street has an unusual composition in which the trees and houses appear to have settled into the bottom of the image. The soft shapes of the fading light peeking through the clouds caught my attention and I chose pastel as a good medium to keep that softness.
