I set up a multi-layered composition of natural and man-made details — looking outside my studio past a comfortable pillow and then through a window, a porch railing and a fence to contemplate  the picturesque snow-covered branches. I was  able to see past the barriers to being outside, but liked keeping the references to the barriers.
