18 x 18in., acrylic on wood panel , work still in progress (with works that rely on a sense of “coming into view” I often stop work part way and only slowly add more details – sometimes doing several of the same scene with differing amounts of detail)

An early blog entry details the start of this painting (click here). I always like the return of leaves to the trees with the colors of spring, before the trees start to obscure some of the details of the houses.
